“Duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do things beautifully”
“When I was thirteen years old, my parents bought their first home. It was a mid-century ranch near Mulholland Drive. For me, it meant a safer neighborhood and a better school. For my parents, it was a reward for all of their hard work and was a source of security & pride.
I watched the enormous wealth-building power of real estate as my parent’s investments constantly outpaced what they earned in business, and I resolved to master the nuance and power of real estate investing.
It has become my passion. It’s one with which I enjoy inspiring others whether they are first-time homebuyers or more seasoned investors. I love the awesome beauty, scale and proportion of luxury homes. I love the satisfaction of helping first-time buyers take their first steps toward achieveing their American Dream. And, I love the creative challenge & wealth-building potential in renovating dated or distress properties.
People usually buy & sell homes during major transitions in their lives: marriage, children, relocation, divorce, retirement, convalescence and death. I’m always mindful that the work I do can help people through these sometimes emotional transitions.
It gives me great satisfaction knowing that the better I do my job, the more I empower my clients to stay focused on the things that inspire and elate them. I’m humbled that my clients trust and like me well enough to recommend me to their family and friends; and I flatter myself that this is some indication that I have been successful.
Judy Hebert was my parents’ real estate agent back in 1976, and we are still friends today. The path on which she set my parents transformed their lives and in turn, has transformed mine. I’m grateful.
I hope you will allow me to do the same for you.
